About stay.tokyo
An independent starting point for finding a place to stay and making the most of Tokyo.
What this guide is for
stay.tokyo helps visitors compare neighborhoods, think through lodging choices, and plan enjoyable days. We favor geographically sensible plans and clear tradeoffs. The site is an independent travel publication, not an official tourism office, hotel, or booking service.
How we prepare our guides
Travel information is researched using sources such as GO TOKYO, Tokyo's official travel guide, and transport operators. Guides link to the resources used so readers can consult the original information. Neighborhood matches and pacing advice are editorial judgments. We do not claim personal visits, hotel inspections, or independently verified guest reviews.
The date on each guide records its editorial preparation date. It is not a guarantee that an attraction, fare, or service has remained unchanged. For opening hours, prices, accessibility, reservation rules, and room terms, consult the provider directly before committing.
Advertising and recommendations
This launch version contains no paid placements, affiliate booking links, or advertising scripts. The site has an ads.txt file identifying the Google advertising account authorized by the publisher. That file does not mean advertisements are currently running or that Google has approved the site. Any future sponsored placements should be clearly labeled.
Photography & film
The homepage city photograph is served locally and was sourced from Unsplash. It provides an impression of the city and does not represent a bookable property or a view promised by any accommodation.
The homepage film, Night at the City of Tokyo, is by Guarionex Del Carmen and is used under the Pexels license. We resized the footage and removed its audio for this silent street scene. The film and its still preview are hosted on stay.tokyo.
